The Northwest Linguistics Conference is an annual conference for graduate students in linguistics to share their work in a friendly atmosphere, and meet colleagues from other universities, both locally and internationally. The venue rotates on a four year cycle among University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, University of Victoria, and the University of Washington.
This year, the conference will be hosted by UBC Linguistics on May 5-7, 2017.
If you are interested in submitting a paper, you can find the call for paper here. We welcome submissions from graduate students and advanced undergraduates from anywhere. Note that there will be a poster session for those who prefer this modality.
