Algonquian Research Group

The Algonquian Research Group is a meeting of department faculty and students to discuss papers, share ongoing research, and explore group projects on Algonquian languages. Recently, drawing on data from Plains Cree, Blackfoot, Mi’kmaq, Ojibwe, and other Algonquian languages, the group investigated phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic aspects of initial change.
