Kaili Vesik (Ph.D, 2025) has been awarded a two-year Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) postdoctoral fellowship. Her project is called ‘Leveraging computational models to predict challenges and successes in human second language acquisition’. She will work with Simon Fraser University linguistics professor Ashley Farris-Trimble, where she will also be collaborating with the Phonological Processing Lab.
