Students in the Masters of Data Science in Computational Linguistics program presented their capstone projects on June 25. Each group wrote a blog post describing their research:
- Cancer Rehab (motivational chatbots to encourage recovery during Cancer rehabilitation)
- CGI (workload and expertise-informed personnel management)
- Ednoda (discovery of language-learning examples that match learner expertise)
- Jeppesen (knowledge distillation from myriad sources into easy-to-read, accurate summaries)
- SUEDE (educational assistant for age-appropriate, expert-vetted sexual health education)
- UBC Psych (fast, accurate AI for texting and mental health)
