Kenna McEwan joins as the new Graduate Program Assistant

Please welcome our new Graduate Program Assistant, Kenna McEwan.

Kenna graduated last month with a BA in Linguistics, minor in Education Psychology and Special Education, having made the Dean’s List and being awarded the UBC Arts Graduating Leader Award. She served as President of the Speech and Linguistics Student Association (SALSA) for the past year, having previously been involved as Program Manager as well as Peer Tutor (LING 200). Her passion is likewise evident in her experience with the Canucks Autism Network and her ongoing involvement with the Advancing Language & Literacy (ALL) Group at UBC.

Kenna has already been with the department as a Work Learn student in the LING Undergraduate Program for over a year! We are delighted to have her in the new capacity!

Welcome, Kenna!
