Bryan Gick named AAAS Fellow



Bryan Gick has been named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for distinguished contributions to the field of experimental phonetics, notably for advances in multimodal perception and biomechanics.

According to the AAAS, fellowships are awarded for “important contributions to STEM disciplines, including pioneering research, leadership within a given field, teaching and mentoring, fostering collaborations, and advancing public understanding of science”. Fellows are selected by the council of the AAAS. Previous fellows include Thomas Edison.
