Linguistics Faculty Honored at Dean of Arts Reception

At this year’s Dean of Arts annual reception, several members of the Department of Linguistics were recognized for their outstanding achievements in research and teaching.

Among the honorees were:

  • Henry Davis, recipient of both the Dean of Arts Award and the King Charles III Coronation Medal

  • Kathleen Hall, recipient of the Killam Teaching Prize (pictured)

In addition to these individual honors, the reception celebrated faculty members across the Faculty of Arts who have received research grants over the past two years. Linguistics was well represented among the grant recipients, with names highlighted in both the verbal acknowledgments and the rotating slideshow—including a timely slide featuring Bryan Gick, captured in one of the event photos.

Congratulations to all our faculty members for their exceptional contributions!
