Congratulations to Michel Assis Navarro, who has been awarded the UBC Dissertation Prize in the category of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences for his doctoral dissertation, “Quantization and Quantification: Countability and Scope of Bare Nouns in Kaingang and Beyond.” This prestigious award recognizes outstanding graduate research at UBC.
As the recipient of this prize, Michel has also been nominated by UBC for the national CAGS/ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award.
