Graduate Courses

Below please find links to course descriptions as well as current course offerings at the graduate level.

In the UBC system, courses numbered 500 and above are graduate (M.A. and Ph.D.) courses. 400-level courses may also be available for graduate students; please contact the graduate advisor, Molly Babel, for more specific information.

Note that in any term that a student is not registered in any other course (e.g. in the summer term), they should register in either LING 549 (MA students) or LING 649 (PhD students).

Please see https://blogs.ubc.ca/linggrads/2017/06/08/new-courses-and-a-requirement-reminder/ for the most recent update about graduate course requirements.
